support groups
what is a support group?
Do you live with anxiety, depression or bipolarity? Does your current schedule prevent you from committing to a 10-to-12-week program by registering for one of our self-management workshops?
Whether or not you have received a diagnosis of anxiety, depression or bipolarity, you can attend a free weekly support group facilitated by mental health professionals.
The groups are an opportunity to express and share what you are experiencing and feeling in an atmosphere of compassion, respect and solidarity. Wherever you are, you have access to support to regain power over your mental health.
In addition to being open to all, the support group is flexible and available when you need it. You can choose to participate in just one session or several, select the days most convenient to you, change your choices from week to week, or even stop and then pick up later. The support is adapted to the ups and downs in our lives.
The only requirement is that you register before each support group you wish to attend. This allows us to ensure that there are no more than 20 people per support group, and that participants will have access to a safe, confidential service.
