Our self-management workshops for college and university students are group-based interventions that provide students with practical tools to better cope with anxiety or depression and learn how to take everyday actions that support and promote their mental well-being.

how do the workshops work?

  • An eight-week group program, with one 2-hour session per week and a 90-minute introductory session 

  • Designed for students living with anxiety and/or depression 

  • No medical assessment required 

  • Led by two certified self-management facilitators

  • A safe space to be heard, understood, and feel less alone

As a student, you will explore different ways to live with your symptoms, recognize your early warning signs, and regain a greater sense of control over your mental health. 

 

what are the participation requirements?

To participate in the workshops, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a college or university (depending on the workshop selected) and have a valid student ID number 

  • Be willing to commit to an 9-week group program 

  • Be prepared to actively participate in activities and discussions 

  • Keep your camera on during sessions 

  • Ensure a confidential environment that supports open discussion 

  • Have access to a computer or tablet equipped with a camera and microphone, and be able to join sessions via Zoom
